A male vocal a cappella ensemble was founded in 2013 on the initiative of Bartosz Izbicki. It specializes in historical Polish and Latin singing with the use of improvised polyphony. The group aims at reconstructing the living tradition of singing as it was in use until the 19th century, by creating a new musical space around the motets, tropes, and sequences. Jerycho has performed in many concerts in Poland and abroad, and recorded numerous CDs: Laudario Polonico (2015), Wincenty of Kielcza: Officium of St. Stanisław (2015), Officium and Mass of St. John the Merciful (2016), Surgit Leo fortis (2018), a CD recorded in cooperation with Marcel Pérès: 966 (2019), and two CDs published in cooperation with inCanto Foundation: Bogarodzica (2019) and Golgotha (2019). In 2019, the group performed the three-hours liturgical service of Tenebrae on Good Friday, commissioned by the Misteria Paschalia Festival. In September 2019, Jerycho appeared at the prestigious Trigonale Festival in Austria.
